What do you think they're planning for the week of the 27th? There are only 4 themes, but 5 weeks of writing? 🤔 I can't imagine them being like, "Here, just have the week to polish!" Because...why would Janet pass up ANY opportunity to sow chaos among the community during a writing event?!
I don’t know. I’m very intrigued by that empty fifth week. I’m cautiously optimistic we’ll get something fun and crazy, but I’m also wondering if they really will just be like, “Here’s some extra time. Enjoy!”
Is it possible some of the Week 4 prompts could be really chonky? Other than that, I’m kinda stumped as to what they could drop. A whole nother theme?
I don’t think so….they gave us Military Conflict in the first week this time because of how we (the community in general) bitched about getting chonks late in the game last year. And I think those surprise prompts last year ended up being sort of a mixed bag, community wise. From what I’ve seen, it seems to be about 50/50 on whether that was fun or stressful. (I’m in camp ‘both.’)
I had a dream last night where the final week’s challenges were to use different WA features to flesh out our Summer Camp articles. So, there was a challenge to use a Family Tree, a Map, etc.
