Dear Readers,
I am very late with the newsletter this week. Take a guess as to why:
A girl anachronism kidnapped me and demanded the nuclear codes for the Titanic, the Mayflower, and the Ship of Theseus, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer.
A Great Dane ate my homework after accidentally consuming a pot brownie left on the counter by his stoner owner. And by “homework,” I mean the previous draft of this newsletter, of course.
I took on one too many projects in my “free time” this week.
At any rate, it’s late on Thursday and I want to get this out to you to let you know that:
A) I’m alive.
B) The Kickstarter succeeded! And,
C) Progress continues on issue 3 of The Blood of Seven Queens
You can still join in on the Kickstarter as a “late pledge” through Sunday morning. Or, if Kickstarter isn’t your speed, you can now get copies of issues 1 and 2 at my Ko-fi Shop.
And that’s all for this week. I’m hard at work on World Anvil’s Spooktober community event, which invites us “to answer spooky-themed prompts in any medium.” I’m doing quick and dirty art pieces for each prompt and I’ve sprinkled some of my favorites throughout this issue of the newsletter. If you’d like to check out the whole kit and kaboodle, you can do so here.
Yours,
Chris
