Long Time, No See
in which our hero explains
Dear Readers,
I apologize for going nearly a month without an update. To be honest, I had very little to report until my proof copy of *The Blood of Seven Queens* #5 arrived from the printer this week—nearly a month after I sent it to them. It looks great and I’m hoping to have copies on hand for all you fantastic Kickstarter backers by the end of the month, but it’s been a frustrating time. I’ll definitely be looking at alternate printers for future projects.
In other news, as pictured in the photo above, I had a great time at the Plastic City Comic Con. I didn’t sell very much, but I did sell some. *And* I got some great notes on what I might do differently next time by observing the other creators and vendors at the event. So I’ll chalk it up as a win.
My application for MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, was declined however. That sucks, but I still have one more event this year and that’ll just have to be enough for now. That event is next Saturday, September 13, at Auburn Day in Auburn, NH.
I’m hard at work on issue #6 and look forward to sharing more about that process with you as time goes on.
Yours,
Chris
