Dear Readers,

Today, I’m launching a Kickstarter campaign for The Blood of Seven Queens #1 and #2. If you’re not familiar, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform where creative types like me can raise money for their absolutely EPIC ideas and/or their completely harebrained schemes. Rest assured that I’m going to keep putting out The Blood of Seven Queens no matter what, but Kickstarter is a fantastic market for promoting independent comics and I’ve been dying to give it a try ever since I started this series.

You can support the project for as little as $1, but if you contribute more then you get more. That more includes digital copies, print copies, postcard-sized art prints, or even custom illustrations. Most of the options get you both issues, but I haven’t forgotten about the small group of you who have already purchased a copy of issue 1. You guys will have an option to grab issue 2 all by its lonesome.

I do hope you’ll consider backing this Kickstarter and/or passing it along to your friends and family who might love it. Here’s the video I whipped together to help promote the gosh-darned thing:

I should also mention that you’ll probably hear more from me over the next couple of weeks that the Kickstarter is running (it ends on October 20). That’s what them there marketing folks tell me is a “best practice,” and I’m trying to do things by the book here. So, I hope you don’t get sick of me! If you do though, please know that I’ll understand if you have to just file the extra messages away to stay sane—or even if you have to unsubscribe.

Alright. That’s all for now, folks. Paid subscribers, keep on scrolling for your look at the next four pages of issue 2. Everyone else, I’ll see you back here soon.

Yours,
Chris
